Description

"Lo there do I see my father; Lo there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers; Lo there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo, they do call to me, they bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live forever." This outfit is Roneth’s (Neil Maffin) primary battle costume worn throughout the film. Roneth the horseman was the 7th warrior to volunteer for the journey. This set consists of his hero metal helmet, metal armor, and a hero metal sword (not his, just made for the movie). The helmet and armor were forged by master film armorer Terry English. The helmet can be screen-matched to when the warriors disembark from their boat and are approached by a mounted rider, and Roneth states "A herald." The sword is approximately 40" long, and appears to be made of aluminum with leather wrapped handle. I owned this armor set a decade ago (purchased the armor and helmet individually at Propstore) and ended up selling it when I needed money. I always regretted selling it, so I am glad to have him back home.
