This is a replica of Geordi La Forge's V.I.S.O.R. (Visual Instrument and Sensory Organ Replacement). Specifically, this is a replica VISOR similar to the one seen in TNG Seasons 5-7 & Generations movie. The front plate is machined aluminum, the rods (37 total) are solid brass, the upper and lower plates are styrene painted gray and the side details are styrene with holographic tape applied.
This VISOR was built from a kit assembled using information provided by Mike Moore, of HMS Studios. In my opinion, this VISOR most closely resembles the VISOR that was on display at Star Trek: The Experience.
