This was given to Penny Juday directly after the filming of TNG episode, "The Best of Both Worlds". She wanted to add it to the set of "First Contact" and they agreed so it shows up very quickly in Engineering. The first Borg episode was "Q Who" and they used the same artwork on the signs as in the other episodes but the corners were square...they rounded them starting with the second Borg episode.
