This incredible prop is a highly detailed, non-working zat gun in its open position. The zatn’kitel,
nicknamed the Zat Gun by Colonel O’Neill. This Goa’uld pistol-like
energy weapon is commonly used sidearm and has three levels
of operation; the first shot delivers an electrocution-like pain
that causes unconsciousness. The second shot, when fired
right after the first, will kill. The third shot, fired right
after that, will vaporize. The producers eventually
regretted introducing the disintegration
feature and obliterated it out of existence
after season 3 (Zat will teach them).
