Description
The wrist comm was used by Starfleet for a relatively brief time during the 2270s. The reason that this style was ultimately abandoned in favor of returning to handheld communicators is unclear, although one source suggests that they were relatively fragile and prone to failure after minor impacts. Resin and metal replica, with lights and sound. Artisan unknown.More from Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)
