Original final poster artwork by Brian Bysouth for Phil Karlson's crime drama Walking Tall. This lot comes from the personal collection of Brian Bysouth. Released in 1973, the film tells the true-story-inspired tale of Tennessee sheriff Buford Pusser's relentless fight against organised crime and corruption. Walking Tall was a major box-office success and a defining example of the era's gritty, populist action cinema. The artwork is painted in gouache on an illustration board and signed by Bysouth in silver paint in the bottom left corner. The piece is overlaid with a protective sheet of translucent paper.
