"Come on Hooper, tie it up!" - Quint (Robert Shaw)
This has turned out to be one of the most valued and beloved items in my collection of movie memorabilia!
This is an ORIGINAL 'W.W.GREENER MK2 Light Harpoon Gun' as used by the character Quint (the now sadly deceased, Robert Shaw) in the classic Steven Spielberg chiller JAWS.
This gun has been safely deactivated to UK law but thankfully still features all working actions such as breach, trigger and safety mechanism. The gun is accompanied with the following -
*GREEN WOODEN CASE with red inner trim. This is now showing a little bit of age and features a few rusting edges and chips in the paintwork.
*LINE THROWER The crew decided to use the harpoon's tied direct to the ORCA's barrels, so this piece was not used in the film but can be seen clearly in the case.
*3x HARPOONS
*W.W.GREENER instruction manual
This set is also accompanied with a couple of the High-Powered blanks used to fire the harpoon's off of the barrel of the gun. It is a great talking point in my collection of JAWS memorabilia and is one of the most interesting pieces I've ever owned.
