Season 3, Episode 1 (1:01 minutes) - In a sneak attack against an Espheni mining camp with harnessed children used as slave labor, young Matt Mason (Maxim Knight) follows orders given him by Colonel Dan Weaver and covertly places black, rugged Volm grenades with colored LED lights around the Espheni camp while evading Mechs as just another child. Once Matt returns to the Colonel and activates the Volm grenades by remote control, a 2nd Mass squadron descends on the camp, readily killing Skitters and Mechs until mammoth new Mega Mechs with Gatling guns for arms emerge from under some rocks. This black, rugged Volm grenade is made of hard plastic and wires and has a blue LED light. Approx. 3 1/2" long.
