One of the most feared weapons in middle earth ,the Uruk Hai scimitar !! This one is an extras ,screen used original from FOTR made by Weta !
Update 23/08/2026 ..........For the many that have asked in the past and anyone else ,i may finally be interested in parting with this rare piece of"Lord of the rings " film history . As stated it was screen used on fellowship of the ring scenes including isengard and Amon hen , it came from a crew member who made them for weta in wellington NZ at the time and has never been owned by a dealer so has no COA but i can guarantee it's authentic . It is made from resin and has a steel shaft in the centre of it ( to help shield wayward strikes from other weapons' on set ) .
If your seriously interested i would be looking for $10 k US which would include free shipping from New Zealand .
I can give more history and details on serious inquiries !
I'm also happy just to leave it here for fans to view and enjoy.
P.S I may soon load more screen used props from my LOTR/ Hobbit etc collection .; )
