This is a reproduction of the Phaser as seen in the first film. Though representative of the screen-used prop, this particular kit is longer and more slender than the originals. This reproduction was made by reknowned prop maker Ed Miarecki, and this style of Phaser was actually used in the filming of the TNG episode "Yesterday's Enterprise". Comprised of solid-cast resin, it has been painted in the proper colour and a new control panel graphic applied.
