This mask is 1 of the 5 masks which were screen used by John Carrol Lynch in his depiction of Twisty the Clown on American Horror Story. Two were used in his original appearance on the Freak Show season, (one hero and one stunt) and three more were used for Twisty's return during the Cult season. These 3 were cast from the original hero mask, which was broken in two pieces during filming. The three used in Cult have a distinct line running down the right side of the mask, the spot where the original mask was glued back together. I reached out to Mike Mekash, prop designer and make up artist for American Horror Story, and he personally confirmed in writing that this mask was used on screen during Twisty's appearance in Cult. The back of the mask is engraved with 3/3.
