This is basically a 23rd Century Pistol Kit that I built and enhanced with light and sound. Except for a metal trigger and beam emitter housing, the phaser is all plastic. The P-II has light and sound, but the P-I is hollow to keep the weight down. Inside the P-II body I fitted a small but powerful magnet. I then constructed a faux-leather 'phaser holder' that contains another powerful magnet. With the phaser holder looped over a belt, the phaser can be securely carried simply by pressing it against the holder - the two magnets lock the phaser in place very nicely.
