An elusive and small piece, the effects of its use must've been devasating, given the reaction of terror from the characters in Jabba's Palace. Princess Leia, disguised as the bounty hunter Boushh, uses the thermal detonator to threaten and shakedown Jabba the Hutt for higher a payoff on Chewbacca's bounty. The original piece included a sliding activation switch on the top hemisphere of the prop which exposed a red light. Three LED's on the face of the detonator also flashed in sequence as it counted down with a distinctive warning sound. Master Replicas was given direct access to the original prop in the LucasFilm archives. After many measurements and studies, they produced this fully-functioning replica with lights and sounds from the movie. Limited Edition 801/1000.
