Raiders of the lost Ark (1981). Headpiece to the staff of Ra, this was the relic that was needed to go to the map room to find the location of the Ark of the Covenant. This relic is a fictional example of similar ones recorded in Egyptian history. In ancient Egyptian Cosmology Ra was the Sun God, identified with dawn and rebirth. The headpiece measures 8cm in width and 8cm in height. It is solid metal, and gold plated. A very beautiful piece.
