PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL – Production Used Treasure Coin
Original metal coin from the production of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003).
According to the accompanying Prop House Certificate of Authenticity, this coin was used as production set decoration during the filming of the movie. It originates from the treasure hoard of Captain Hector Barbossa, one of the central visual elements of the film and the source of the Aztec curse that drives the story.
While not identified as a hero coin or screen-matched example, this is an authentic production-used artifact that was present within Barbossa's treasure seen on screen. The treasure cave sequences at Isla de Muerta remain among the most iconic moments of the entire Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
Unlike replica merchandise, this coin comes directly from the production of the film itself and represents a genuine piece of the cursed treasure sought by Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann throughout the story.
