This is the official Star Trek into Darkness starfleet phaser made by QMX. This phaser is exclusive to amazon when ordering the blu-ray of Star Trek into Darkness. While the same size and shape of the phaser QMX released for the Star Trek reboot, there are subtle differences. The coloring is a little different, and there are new accent details on the phaser, most notably on the pistol grip. The best change is the barrel actually rotates between "kill" and "stun" and appears to be held in place by magnets.
