Original Speedster weapon used by most of the main cast in multiple episodes of the time travel superhero television show Legends of Tomorrow (2016-2022), where time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter must recruit a ragtag team of heroes and villains to help prevent an apocalypse that could impact not only Earth, but all of time.
The Speedster Weapon, known as, Speedster gun, or Speed Force rifle is a special kind of anti-speedster weapon that can be used on a speedster to temporarily cut off their connection to the Speed Force, rendering them powerless but only temporary. These weapons are in the form of rifles that can fire a pulse of energy which disables a speedster and stuns them, as well as keeps them from using their speed for a short moment. These weapons were invented by Eobard Thawne sometime in the 22nd century.
