We have been searching for these props for YEARS. There’s a very small list of roles that were casted to the actor/actress that was MEANT for that role and one of those very few was Andy Whitfield playing Spartacus. After the first season laying down the perfect foundation of this historic character, Andy passed away from cancer. Because so many props were reused and repurposed throughout the next 3 seasons, there were only a handful of props left over marked as Andy Whitfield which have become near to impossible to find and the few that are out there are held onto with a death grip. But we scored the lotto on this hoard... the Sica sword is from his special armor and sword set made for him after the Theokoles victory and this leather shoulder armor is marked inside as Andy W #1. These two pieces stand out as his signature pieces throughout the first season. Hopefully soon we’ll find one of his helmets to finish off this bust in honor of Andy Whitfield, RIP
