Sherlock Homes’ (Robert Downey Jr) stunt faux wooden club used in the production of Guy Ritchie’s action adventure Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011). This club is used during the exciting sequence at Watson’s (Jude Law) stag party in which Holmes gets into a fight with the Cossack assassin, who was sent by Moriarty (Jared Harris) to kill Simza (Noomi Rapace). This stunt club has been crafted from sponge which has been wrapped and painted in beige & browns in order for it to resemble wood with a round tip at the top. It also features details of intentional distress to give the impression of its use in a physical confrontation. Towards the bottom of the piece there is also a hole which was perhaps there in order to fix the item in place if necessary. This excellent stunt piece measures 53cm (20.75”) in length and is in very good production used condition. Includes a COA from The Prop Store of London.
