This is the phaser from the first star trek pilot entitled the cage never actually aired in which severl of the original cast members were not present in fact the only person I can think of who was is Spocl. This was molded from a Screen used original prop and limited to an edition size of 10. This piece is #3 of 10. It has a all brass barrell with rotating firing ring with three settings, an aluminum turning ring in the middle and is rigged with a 5mw laser diode and has a spring loaded trigger. This is far better than the Rod.com version a fine piece of craftmanship. The barrel can also be turned to overload position and the barell extended to simulate the overload sequecne seen in TOS episode the Menagrie.
