The Satedans were a race of humans in the Pegasus Galaxy, nearly exterminated by the predatory Wraith. Ronon Dex, one of the few surviving Satedans, is recaptured by the Wraith and transported back to his abandoned homeworld to be hunted for sport, in third season episode Sateda. Ronon salvages whatever weapons he can find to combat his Wraith pursuers, including a few powerful handheld frag grenades capable of leveling a building or wiping out groups of Wraith drones.
This prop was apparently originally made for use as a Goa'uld grenade in Stargate SG-1 (explaining the typical Goa'uld markings), but was ultimately not seen onscreen in that earlier series.
Resin, plastic and metal prop grenade, with removable safety lever. This hero prop contains (currently nonfunctional) internal electronics designed to activate flashing red illumination when the lever is popped off.
