These goggles originally came from the production of the first film ‘Pitch Black’ and were given to the Prop Dept. working on the sequel by David Twohy for developing the design for the new style CoR goggles. The original frame was modified with the segmented strap made especially for the new film. When the final design was settled upon some of these goggle designs that still closely matched the final set ended up getting used for stunt work in The Chronicles of Riddick by stunt performers Timothy Connolly, David Campbell or perhaps even by Vin Diesel himself.
