"U.S.S. Palomino" Filming Model Miniature from The Black Hole (Disney, 1979). Vintage original filming miniature constructed of cast resin, metal, plastic and mixed-media components. All expertly assembled and finished to appear as a real space capsule with theatrical distressing and hand badging and lettering, including "Palomino" hand lettered on a tier of the spaceship's cap. There were 2-versions of the ship created in miniature, 1-larger for closeups and 1-smaller for long-shot in scale with the "Cygnus." Measuring 5.5" around x 7" tall.
Model screen matches (paint marks) in scenes where ship is in scale with the Cygnus.
