Created by the chief model-maker for the film Ease Oweyoung this is a pyrotechnic Y-Wing fighter which was unfinished and saved from certain doom!The main fuselage of the fighter is hollow to allow for placement of the SFX pyro charges and there are markings on both the hull and fuselage to map out where the charges were to be placed.Though incomplete this is a very rare piece and few,if any, examples of this kind of model are to be found in private collections.The undoubted centerpiece of my collection.Serving as a backdrop and emphasis is an original ROTJ ILM storyboard featuring a Y-Wing being chased down by a TIE over a Mon Cal Star Cruiser.A magnificent piece of Star Wars history and I am honoured to have it.
