This is an original foam latex test casting of Jabba the Hutt's face, created during the production of JEDI in 1982. This piece was one of the early pulls from the mold, and was used for "slime tests." The filmed puppet was destroyed after production, so this is the only reference to the face sculpt that exists today. It is dislayed on a custom form from Tom Spina Designs that gives the skin the proper form. The eyes are also original production castings.
