The item presented here is a one of several prototype hunting jackets made for Jennifer Lawrence's character Katniss Everdeen in the original Hunger Games. I purchased this item a few years ago from ThemePark Connection when they offered a large collection of wardrobe items from the movie for sale on eBay.
This item is incomplete and has a few pins in the garment which is to be expected with a prototype. However I would consider it wearable.
It is put together with a smokey grey denim material and dark brown suede which is used as a patch on the shoulder and collar.
It is interesting how well put together this garment is seeing how it is only a prototype. The lining was not put in and the stitching for what could have been a zipper is not installed. However as you can see in the photos, buttons, straps, and pockets are in place and could be used in full function.
The certificate and auction photos shown verify the jacket's authenticity.
This is a beautiful and one of a kind piece from a hit and cult classic.
