A collection of Mighty Joe Young storyboards, scripts, and paperwork from Ron Underwood’s family adventure Mighty Joe Young. In the film, a large mountain gorilla is brought to a preserve in Los Angeles by his caretaker and a zoologist in the hopes of keeping him safe, unaware that a poacher from Joe's past plans another attempt to capture him.
This collection features 33 different brass brad-bound photocopied storyboard sequences, two scripts, a shot list, typewritten letters to Bill Sturgeon, an interoffice memo of production of the one-line schedule, and a calendar from February to March 1996 with meeting schedules. The paperwork features annotations all throughout the margins in felt pen ink and pen ink.
