Here’s the newest grail in my collection!
This is Michelle Pfeiffer’s screen-matched/photo-matched jacket from Coolio’s iconic “Gangsta’s Paradise” music video, matched to both footage from the video and behind-the-scenes photos.
What makes this piece especially cool is that Michelle was wearing the jacket in character as LouAnne Johnson from Dangerous Minds. So this is much more than just a music video costume it’s a unique piece of both movie and hip-hop history, connecting Dangerous Minds, Michelle Pfeiffer, and one of the most iconic rap videos of the 1990s.
Even more special, Michelle personally signed the jacket inside, directly on the label, with her name.
