This maroon heavyweight cotton jersey with white number 17 was worn by Michael J. Fox in the iconic role of Alex P. Keaton in the classic 80s sitcom Family Ties. He can be seen wearing this style of shirt in at least three episodes, 2x04 "This Year's Model," 2x06 "Speed Trap," and 2x21 "Working At It." Fox was actually filming Back to the Future at the same time as the second season of Family Ties, sometimes filming for both on the same days. The hard work paid off, since when the film was released he had the distinction of being one of the top film stars and top TV stars simultaneously.
