This patch was custom made by the production for use on the various jumpsuits during filming. You can see them on the shoulders of the crew members in the white jumpsuits and the red jumpsuits - including Roy Neary's, played by Richard Dreyfuss. This a very cool piece from a classic Spielberg film.
