"Star Trek" Crystal Prop. Here is a "crystal" crafted from a form of styrofoam for the "Star Trek" episode titled "By Any Other Name" (airdate: February 23, 1968). The piece is from the collection of by legendary prop maker Greg Jein, who worked as an effects technician, model maker, and miniature artist on four "Trek" feature films and two of the spin-off TV series, as well as the feature films "Star Wars" and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." The piece is in excellent condition.
