This is A Mark XV Science (Relativity) Tricorder replica seen In the Voyager Episode “Relativity”.
This replica originally had no sound and used 4 3V button Cell batteries.
When opened over 20 LEDS come on in Sequence, 4 Tri-Colored LEDS on the main panel and the positions of the Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta LEDS are perfectly accurate to the ones on the show. It also has A looping processing/beeping sound.
It runs on a Lithium Ion battery with its own charger. It was built by Brett Jones aka Josh Hammond At Federation Surplus. The Sound and Lithium Ion battery was added later by David Christian.
