Here’s a pretty incredible pickup from The Boys: the screen-used, photo-matched hero Liberty costume worn by @maybeayacash
This costume is photo-matched to a behind-the-scenes photo taken by Aya herself while wearing it. You can clearly see that the buttons are perfectly aligned, and the four distinctive dots are positioned exactly the same as on the auction piece, confirming the match.
The costume designer also told me that only two Liberty costumes were ever made: a hero costume and a stunt costume. The stunt version had holes inside the cape for the flying rig, while this is the hero costume used for filming.
An interesting bonus is that the included red satin cape was not used on screen. Instead, it was used as a reference piece to create the artwork of Liberty featured on the Budweiser promotional flyer.
The biggest thing is that this character is set to return in the upcoming prequel Vought Rising (2027), which will likely increase interest in her significantly. The series is expected to explore the origins of Soldier Boy and Liberty, with both characters playing central roles.
