K’ao Hsin’s costume worn by Marie Matiko and stunts in the episodes “Purity” and “Back in the bottle” from season 5.
K’ao Hsin was the daughter of Lao Ma, sister of Ming T’ien, and twin sister of Pao Ssu. She helped Xena and Gabrielle save Chin when her sister and brother attempted to conquer and rule it. Her knowledge on her mother’s book gave her power to beat her sister, Pao Ssu.
The costume includes a dress made of an intricate silk brocade fabric in green and yellow tones and orange silk brocade trousers. This costume was auctioned in the “It’s a Wrap!” auction held in 2001, it comes with the original COA and costume elements label.
