Green doublet and breeches worn by John Dehner as Gilbert Winslow in Clarence Brown’s Plymouth Adventure (MGM, 1952), starring Spencer Tracy, Gene Tierny, and Van Johnson. Costume design by Walter Plunkett. Buttons, as well as ruffles on cuffs and breeches, added for a later production. Shirt was Lowell Gilmore’s from his role as Gilbert’s brother, Edward (made into an ensemble at some point). MGM label: “J. Dehner”
