Dog tags for John Basilone in The Pacific. A neat thing we've learned about dog tags is how the Prop Department even had the innoculation dates correct for each battle. In other words, these have a date before Guadalcanal, but if you look at his Iwo Jima dogs tags on Prop Store, the innoculation date has been changed to 1945. Great detail from the costume department.
Basilone was a real Marine and a true hero.
I am currently buying and trading for steel helmets from The Pacific, plus named uniforms groupings of certain characters. E-mail me at historydogs@yahoo.com if you'd consider an offer on yours.
