Large grouping of items from Guadalcanal episode, including scene where John Basilone manned a machine gun, eventually earning the Medal of Honor. Also has boots, dog tags and other items.
Helmet shown in my display was not worn by Basilone/Seda. It is a plastic prop helmet and came with a Snafu Shelton / Rami Malek grouping from The Pacific. I used it with the Basilione items to complete the display.
I am currently buying steel helmets from The Pacific, plus named uniforms groupings of certain characters. Am also looking for an undamaged prop carbine with sling. E-mail me at historydogs@yahoo.com if you'd consider an offer on yours.
