A GSL launches a liquid that rapidly solidifies into a tough flexible monofilament cable upon exposure to air. This model, created in the Jedi workshops and used by Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan on Naboo, can form up to 20 meters of cable, and fires with sufficient force to embed the spike in most materials.
