This item is a book cover for ‘Apes in Myth and History’, the fictional work of J.F. Prescott, a primate expert who accompanies the expedition. The front cover features the title and author’s name, with a black and white picture of a gorilla. The reverse has a picture of Bridges as Prescott, also in black and white. The inside flaps have a synopsis of a book, also about animals, but not the one from the film.
