This is the Original Holy mother of Craggy Island. I acquired this from the set designer who was responsible for the look and feel of the show.
The shrine helped maintain the illusion that priests lived in the famous house, which was not on an island, but by the Burren on the west coast of Eire. Interior shots were filmed in a LWT studio in London.
