Description

This exquisite sword is one of only two hero swords made for the film. The hilt is cast aluminum but the grip and pommel are cast from bronze. The blade is real tempered 5160 spring steel and it is etched with decorations that reflect from the gargoyles and faces carved into the hilt. Tony Swatton of sword and the stone was commissioned for the pieces to be made he and one other person named Bryce Litgen constructed it. The two hero swords were commissioned to be made at the price of $7500 each sword. I had the opportunity to be a part of the stunt swords construction by being the one to cast the guards in wax and piece them together for casting.
