Description

This is an original contact sheet of production test photos used on the original 1977 film Star Wars. Photos like these were taken for visual reference, continuity, and decision making in the different departments working on the film. This particular contact sheet features production test shots of actor Harrison Ford as Han Solo. The pictures of Ford appear to have been shot outside near the Van Nuys Airport in the San Fernando Valley where George Lucas’s company Industrial Light and Magic had its humble beginnings during the creation of Star Wars. The photos depict Ford from multiple angles displaying his wardrobe and blaster. This is an original contact sheet of test photos created for the production’s use and is in excellent condition. This item was acquired from an inner industry source that worked on the production and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.   Presented by The Golden Closet, your premiere source for motion picture, television, and music entertainment memorabilia.
