The blaster model was named after the planet Mandalore's former Duchess Satine Kryze, a devout pacifist who hated violence. Its alternative name came from its usage by General Leia Organa, a famous revolutionary who fought for both the Alliance to Restore the Republic and Resistance. Princess Leia Organa was one of the Rebel Alliance's greatest leaders, fearless on the battlefield and dedicated to ending the tyranny of the Empire. Daughter of Padma Amidala and Anakin Skywalker, twin sister of Luke Skywalker, former princess of Alderaan and a leading general in the Resistance; Leia ranks among the galaxy's great heroes.
