This item is a mechanical creature puppet from the 2004 Civil War horror film Dead Birds. As a group of Confederate soldiers make camp in an abandoned plantation after robbing a bank, they soon find themselves at the mercy of supernatural forces and haunted by horrifying creatures! The entire creature is made out of silicone with small fiberglass sections lining the interior for support. The body comes attached to a large metal support structure which extends down to a round wooden base with three wheels. The wrinkly silicone skin has been detailed a dirty light pink color, with the spine covered in long plastic hairs. There are two cable operated controllers connected to numerous cables running along the interior of the creator which were used for controlling the puppet's movements. This truly creepy piece stands 44" (112cm) tall (including stand) and measure approximately 36" (97cm) from head to hind legs.
