Description

This chalice was used by Gustaf Skarsgård in episode 19 of the fifth season of the television series Vikings (Vikings © 2013-2020 MGM Television), entitled "What Happens in the Cave". In the episode, Floki (played by Gustaf Skarsgård) goes into a cave and when going through it, invoking the gods, he finds this chalice and a cross as a Christian representation and what causes him rage and despair. This chalice match on screen for this scene. It is made of light metal, painted golden brown and intentionally beaten on the sides. It has several crosses sculpted on the sides that are joined with a floral framework.
