Description

The complete Hero male monster costume used in the US horror film Feast. The wedge shaped head is the non-mechanical version used for action scenes. It features a chin strap that, when attached to the actors jaw, enables the creature’s jaw to move at the same time. Made by one of the leading Special Effects Artists in the industry, Gary Tunnicliffe. Comprised of foam rubber with plastic ‘hair’ appliances inserted in the back of the head and a large collection of protruding pointed acrylic teeth. The skull has 'cracked' detailing, a central protruding bone, and the costume still has traces of fake blood used on set. The all in-one body suit also has the cloven feet; the style of the feet meant that the actor had to walk on his toes for all the scenes. The suit zips up at the back with black Lycra, and there is a strip of hair that runs the length of the back that covers the zipper.
