The F-302 is the production model of the X-302 hyperspace fighter, Earth's first spaceworthy fighter-interceptor, capable of operating both in and out of atmosphere, equipped with inertial dampeners and limited hyperdrive, and carried aboard both Prometheus and Daedalus-class warships. Unlike earlier prototypes, the F-302 incorporates only redesigned and human-built technology, without direct use of scavenged alien components, although the spacecraft does retain the general shape of a Goa'uld Death Glider. This flight manual is seen in seventh season episode Fragile Balance, where Major Carter and 'Duplicate' O'Neill give a briefing on flying the new spaceplane to a select group of pilots.
Standard blue vinyl looseleaf binder, with vinyl color F-302 logo sticker on the front, plastic-sleeved cover page, 15 pages of both color and black & white F-302 diagrams with text, and 3 pages of color wireframe schematics within a plastic sleeve on the inside front cover. The last several sections of the binder are filled out with approximately 40 pages of photocopied aviation technobabble.
