This is An Endgame Medical Tricorder replica seen in the last Episode of Star Trek Voyager.
When opened More than 40 LEDS come on in Sequence accurate to the ones on the show. Press the key just below the LB AB Indicators and the scanning sound comes on, press again than the LED's sequence changes and flashes more rapidly, than you here peeping as if commands are being keyed in. The medical scanner(Arm) can dettach/reattach and swivel on the body, it also has a blue LED that illuminates the tip when attached.
It runs on a Lithium Ion battery with its own charger. I have also had
a magnet installed to keep the door closed, the body is resin cast and built by David Christian.
