This intercom was integral to the plot of the movie, when it's poor wiring causes David Esser (Ryan Phillipe) to come into contact with Emilia. It can be screen matched in the scene where the camera zooms in on, then inside, the door buzzer.
The prop was used as the focus for the Italian movie poster.
