Description

Fabric patch worn by some Starfleet personnel in the 2270s & 2280s, signifying assignment to Starfleet Headquarters or other Earth facilities.  Conspicuously seen on Saavik's jacket while she and David Marcus are exploring the Genesis Planet.  Earth is represented in blue, the Sun in black, and the other planets in grey; Pluto apparently regains its favored status some time in the next 2.5 centuries.   From ScreenUsed.
